Courses using Canvas LMS

I have several courses available for review in Canvas LMS, using Canvas Free for Teachers. I would prefer to show you these courses over video call. Please contact me to arrange this.

Instructor guides, Syllabi, rubrics, activities

I have several samples of these materials which I can share on request. This includes instructions for running class on a daily basis, student-facing rubrics for grading, coding activities, and much more. Please contact me to view these documents.

Articulate storyline

In the Technical Foundations course, there is a mechanism in place such that videos must be watched before proceeding. I am changing that now and will have a new version posted shortly. The course integrates short video clips with multiple choice, true/false, and matching assessment questions.

This is a fun topic which demonstrates the user making choices (in this case, choosing chocolate, strawberries, and/or ice cream). The resulting recommendation is based on the user choices. This type of

This quick project demonstrates my skills in going from a less-than-professional graphic to an interactive and polished presentation of the same material.

Camtasia video recording and editing

I have created several video training segments on YouTube using Camtasia for recording and editing the videos. More examples are available on my YouTube channel.

Use Webflow's new Custom Element feature plus the <details> and <summary> HTML elements to create easy accordion panels.

Jen walks you through the difference between em and rem (root-relative em). Understand when to use each unit and follow along in CodePen.

Video training through LinkedIn Learning

I have created LinkedIn Learning video training courses since 2008, when the company was called Lynda.com. Topics covered in trainings include HTML and CSS code; web design software like Webflow, Wix, and Squarespace; and general tips for marketing, content, and strategy for websites.

For each course, I did the following:

  • Propose the topic based on my skills and the needs of the online learning library
  • Create a Table of Contents outlining the video segments for each course
  • Write a script for each video segment, including preparing all slides or other content to appear on screen
  • Create assessments appropriate to each course, including multiple choice and/or coding activities
  • Record the courses via screen capture or on a live stage as required

Sample courses include:
